Our Volunteers are what make this project so special and meaninful. We are always seeking to expand our volunteer base to meet the specific needs of each child's vision. Our goal is to create a large pool of volunteers so we have the flexability to adjust schedules based on availability and the child's health concerns. Below are some of positions that we are currently seeking support in.

 

• Administrative - Helping with Office, Clerical, Phones, and Mail (average is 10-15 hours per month)

• Fundraising - Grant Writing, Sponsorships, Donations, etc. (10-12 Hours per month)

• Film Production Team- Production Volunteers are required to be available for 2-3 consecutive days during filming plus 3 hours for pre-production meetings. An additional 2-3 (2 hour) meetings may be required to meet with each with the child. Our production schedules vary depending on how many children we are currently bringing through the process and each childs health concerns. • FX Team - Video Editors, Special Effects, Character Artists, 3D Specialists, Animators, etc. These specialties require more dedicated time for each child's film and will be determined based on your availibily, experience, and production capability. 

• Artists - Makeup Artists, Prop Makers, Set Builders, Painters, Fashion Designers, and any other creatives that are intrested in contributing to the Lemuria Project. If you do something outside of the skills listed, we would love to hear how your style/creative skills could improve our production and the experience for the children.

• Coaches - Acting Coaches, Voice Coaches, Coreographers, Weapons Specialists, etc. Coaches are required to be available for 2-3 consecutive days during filming plus an additiona 3 hours for pre-production meetings. An additional 3 (2 hour) meetings/training sessions will be required with each with the child if you are the lead in a department. 

• Extra Hands - We are always looking for extra support in a variety of non-specialized areas. Please make note on the submission form how you would like to volunteer!
