THE GOALS

Our long term goal is to establish Lemuria Project as a volunteer based nonprofit organization that partners up with local film production teams around the world, to bring each child's imagination to life. Creatively supporting local hospitals and the children of their communities. How big we grow simply depends on our support.

 

We also have the ability to bring the production to your community. For more information on providing this experience to the children of your city, please contact us.

 

With a small production team (at minimum) It costs $40,000 to professionally complete this process for each child from Hawaii. For many people this seems like a lot for 1 child. If you take into account that 1- 8 week chemotherapy treatment is also about the same amount. On top of that, these family's medical debt soars into the hundreds of thousands of dollars due to a diagnosis. So providing an experience that benefits the child at a fraction of the treatment cost, makes sense to us. For $55,000 we are able to provide this experience for a child in the mainland (US) to fly out and participate. This would include a 7 Day All expense paid vacation to Hawaii for a family of 4. We have a production team and resources to do it, we just need  the budget. This is a professional experience and we insist out production has a small line budget to work with. As we know, you get what you pay for. We are working towards volunteer based organization but until we have the infastructure and support network we need to have a solid budget to work with for each child.

 

 

Film production can be expensive, and if you going to invest in a film, why not be a film with a purpose outside of simple entertainment.

A: A Professional Film Production Experience



Film production requires many highly specialized professionals to make one child's imagination come to life. With the minimum amount above, our team has a small budget to work with, but still predominantly volunteers their time.

- Costume designers & seamstresses          

- Makeup and Hair Stylists                                

- Prop Makers and Special Effects

- Set Designers and Builders                      

- Photographers and Videographers            

- Producers, Directors, and Assistants        

- Digital Artists, Special Effects Artists, and storywriters                  

- Equipment needs, studio and location rentals

- Overhead, Legal, and Insurance

- and this is just some of them...



Our Project also requires a huge amount of volunteer hours and coordination that keep our Cost Down and Purpose, UP. Thank you for reading all this :)
